Snow Plows Dispatched to Sauganash

The request to contract for private snowplows to clear our neighborhood streets is a heavy expense, so we try to call only when necessary. After yesterday’s winter storm, it appears to be necessary to utilize the service. The snowplows will arrive in our neighborhood between 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM today. They will begin on the north/south streets; then take a one (1) hour break to allow homeowners to move their cars; then will proceed with clearing the east/west streets.

Please help us by notifying your neighbors who may not receive our communication.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service

January 17th is a holiday honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  Dr. King lived his life serving others – following his example, millions of Americans serve their communities on Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service by volunteering at schools, at a local shelter, or lending a hand to help neighbors.

Volunteering for MLK Day of Service is a great way to engage with your community while honoring the legacy of Dr. King. Whether you plan on cleaning up a public space, mentoring a young person, or assisting those who are food insecure, what you do makes a world of difference.

MLK Day of Service is intended to empower individuals, strengthen communities, bridge barriers, create solutions to social problems, and move us closer to Dr. King’s vision of a “Beloved Community.” To learn more on how you can serve your community click here.
