Call 311 or visit CHI 311 to submit a service request, to learn more about what the City of Chicago is doing in your neighborhood or to simply access popular articles or frequently requested services.  

You can also contact 311 to access information on City events and programs, report graffiti, illegally parked cars, streetlights that are out, alert the City regarding potentially dangerous stray animals or abandoned vehicles, and to request garbage cans.

311 is a non-emergency number, always dial 911 for emergency situations including suspicious persons, a crime in progress, threat to life, bodily injury or serious property damage or loss. Please also report any suspicious activity even if you are not sure if it is warranted.
